I also use home-produced honey where possible because my dad is a beekeeper. There is so much to enjoy with beekeeping – from educating your kids about nature to delicious organic honey to natural beeswax. Have you tried making the beeswax lemon candles?

Instructions:
To make the healthy grapefruit lemonade at home begin by washing the grapefruit and both lemons thoroughly in warm water. This is because citrus fruit often has a layer of wax on top of the peel which helps to preserve it better. If you grow your own lemons at home or have an option to choose organic citrus fruits – amazing, please do!
Cut the washed lemons and grapefruit in half in a way so you create beautiful stars. Cut of three round slices of lemon and two of the grapefruit. These will later be used for decoration. Take all the rest of the lemons and grapefruit and squeeze the juice out thoroughly into a glass jar. Don’t worry if there is also some meat of the fruit. This too is healthy because it contains fibre.
Add honey or sugar and mix thoroughly. Take the fresh mint, rosemary and strawberry leaves and wash them thoroughly in clean water. Break the leaves in your hands to encourage the essence release and throw into the mixture. Crush the leaves little bit in the juice to get the flavours going, then add ice cubes and finally pour the sparkling water over the mixture.
Mix thoroughly and pour the drink into a glass. Use the initial lemon and grapefruit slices, more fresh strawberry leaves and herbs for decoration. Keep the healthy grapefruit lemonade in fridge and consume within 24 hrs. Enjoy and keep healthy!
