Dalgona Coffee
Delicious whipped coffee for autumn and winter days
Dalgona coffee is an amazing and super-simple treat! It is typically served cold with some ice cubes, alternatively you can put the whipped coffee mixture on top of cold milk. However, today we’ll be making a hot version. It’s because hot drinks are so hygge during the long dark autumn and winter evenings.
Dalgona Coffee
Ingredients
- a teaspoon of instant coffee
- a teaspoon of caster sugar
- two teaspoons of water
- milk
- a pinch of ground cinnamon
- ice cubes (optional for the ice version)
- a whisk
Instructions
Put the coffee, sugar and water into a mug and whist either by hand or using a mixer until the mixture turns golden brown, smooth and silky texture. Pour boiling water onto the mixture until the mug fills up half way. Top up with hot milk until the mug is full and sprinkle some ground cinnamon on top. Enjoy!
