FELT SPRING FLOWERS
Spring Craft – Felt Flowers
Beautiful easy DIY infused with nature
This week’s creative project is inspired by beautiful botanicals – DIY Felt Florals! This easy craft will help to keep you or your children occuppied while uplifting your mood! Unlike paper, felt is quite durable and I love to use it when making textile wall hangings. I also often use it as an embroidery base and recently made a DIY felt bear toy too.
Like many others, we cannot currently wonder outside in nature picking actual flowers. But even though we can’t bring ourselves into the nature, we can bring nature to us! Open you windows wide, put some sparkling music on and let’s get on with this lovely craft!

DIY Felt Florals
You’ll need:
- FREE Printable petals pattern
- pieces of felt in various colours
- green mid-weight wire
- glue gun (alternatively a non-toxic liquid paper glue)
- scissors
Instructions:
There is no one way to create the florals! Enjoy really diving in and being creative with this project because there are so many variations to use! Begin by printing out the petal patterns and cutting them out to guide you. Trace the petals onto the felt fabric in various amounts or colours.
Feel free to alter the petals and leaves making weavy edges and making blossoms out of single petal leaves, folded flowers or even spiral patterns! Use the images bellow for inspiration and guide. Glue gun is a simple way to stick the felt together but any liquid glue should be just as efficient!
